ArtsUnion 2012

ArtsUnion starts another year with our Winter Series.  

Now in our third season the series was created to address the lack of programming in the square during the winter, we continue with programs held in local businesses-- both to draw attention to these businesses and a great way to present quality work in unconventional venues.   Enjoy.

    Printmania, a craft fair for print lovers.  Currently accepting vendors.

    For four Wednesday evenings in March selected vinal masters will spin from the Somerville Grooves collection.   
  • Chicha Night
     
    Another ArtsUnion food and music event--this time we'll explore Peru.
  • Ginger Explosion 3

    Aaron Cohen with Eat has returned, infusing Union Square with a ginger explosion. 

  • Saturday Dance Matinee
     
    A full day of electronic dance music as five local underground DJs fundraise for the Somerville Arts Council.
     

 

ArtsUnion

ArtsUnion is an initiative to enhance the cultural economic development of Union Square. ArtsUnion presents events and markets, cultural and historical tours, commissions street furniture and public art, and has revised zoning to provide incentives for arts related development. ArtsUnion is funded by the Mass Cultural Council's John and Abigail Adams Art Program and the City of Somerville.
