Digby Dance is a fresh voice in the gestural language of modern dance. Comprised of an eclectic group of young dancers, Digby's performances explore the range of human existence from comic to dark.

Navarasa Dance Theater

Navarasa Dance Theater Aparna Sindhoor, Somerville based choreographer, Bharatanatyam dancer and activist, has garnered international acclaim for connecting traditional dance forms with contemporary themes. Sindhoor's work weaves together classical Bharatanatyam dance, folk dance, story telling, yoga and music

Erika Wolf Dance

Energetic and joyous classical ballet performed by dance students from the Boston Dance Company School. These young teenagers will perform 'Summer Concerto' in movements inspired by traditional country dances from the 20th century.

Chu Ling Dance School

Chu Ling Dance School Witness the precise choreography, beautiful costumes and fluid movements that create the experience of traditional Chinese dance. Students from the Chu Ling Dance School have been regular performers at Boston's First Night celebrations for the past three years. Chinese trained dancer and choreographer Chu Ling was a 2002 recipient of the Massachusetts Cultural Council's Artist Humanist Award.

Snappy Dance Theater

Snappy Dance Theater Dedicated to creating and performing funny, beautiful and daringly original dance, you will be amused by the wit and whimsical staging of this performance. Martha Mason (Artistic Director) has completed commissions for dance companies around the world.

Jody Weber and Ann Kearsley

Venture to the bike path just past Buena Vista Road outside Davis square to experience this site-specific performance work. Somerville based choreographer Jody Weber and Landscape Architect Ann Kearsley collaborate in this work investigating the relationships among landscape form, movement and the perception of space
