Boxing with Bam Bam
Witness the strength and speed of boxing dynamo Teanna Babcock, USA BOXING Licensed Coach and boxing teacher at Healthworks Fitness Center for Women. Babcock (a.k.a. "Bam Bam") and friends will demonstrate fancy jump rope tricks and knock 'em sock 'em punches. Then she will request volunteers from the audience to learn some energizing rope and punch skills.

o2 Yoga Perform "Legs and Strings"
This captivating Somerville premiere is a collaboration between local dancers, musicians and yoga teachers. They will perform a uniquely choreographed dance incorporating many different yoga positions. An instruction of selected yoga moves will follow from the "downward dog" to the "warrior pose" that will make you more limberand closer to inner peace!

Jam'nastics!
JAM'NASTIC Hip-Hop Dance Company will be performing a high-energy hip-hop dance combination that incorporates gymnastics and salsa. The unique and intricate choreography will leave you wanting more. Audience participation is welcome, so feel free to dance and sing along!

Stiltwalking Demo
Stiltwalker extraordinaire Lynne Lori Sylvan has been at her acrobatic craft for over ten years and is part of a stiltwalking troupe called Walking Tall. Sylvan will give a 10 minute performance to music and then invite audience members to give stiltwalking a try (with the help of a few spotters!).

Performance Art and Installations
Be on the lookout for giant roving vegetables, a café that serves art rather than food and "Can-imals," an exhibit in which artists will make giant sculptures of animals using cans of food (to be donated to Project Soup). There will also be a bevy of activities for children.

The Big Food Reading
An informal, drop-in reading celebrating the zest and variety of food in all its forms (There's no need to sign up beforehand). From 1-2pm children ages 8 and up will be reading from their own prose or poetry on food, or telling favorite family food stories, or reading from a favorite published book about food. From 2- 4 pm adults will read from their own work or from their favorite published food writing (or even a favorite recipe and the associations surrounding it).
