The Planning Board will be reviewing the proposed zoning submitted by Mayor Joseph Curtatone.

Over the past two years, ArtsUnion - a project shepherded by the Somerville Arts Council in conjunction with the city's Office of Strategic Planning and Community Development and numerous other partners - has explored how zoning in Union Square can better support artists and arts organizations; the result is a proposed Arts Overlay District. In addition, the proposed PUD-C is designed to unleash economic development in the Square. Please come to this planning board meeting to learn more about both proposals.
