Get Involved with Books Of Hope

Youth (14-21)

You may already write stories or poetry. Perhaps you've written articles for your school newspaper. You might even have an idea for a book. How can you join Books Of Hope to write, publish your work, or communicate with Books Of Hope authors? Each August and January, we accept new youth into the program. Call us, at 617.625.6600 ext. 2985 to set up an interview.

Adult Writers /Volunteers

We are always interested in professional writers, educators, who may be interested in helping us. Please call us to determine if your interest, skills, and schedule match our program needs.

Sponsors

Books Of Hope is a joint program of the Mystic Learning Center, Inc. and the Somerville Arts Council. We are always looking for additional sponsors in order to increase the amount of potential youth authors we can inspire. If you or your organization is interested in becoming a Books Of Hope sponsor, please contact us. Check out BOH funding support for the current program year.

Community Centers Or Youth Organizations

If you work with young people between the ages of 14 and 21, and are interested in bringing Books Of Hope authors to your site, or if you want to start a Books Of Hope project with your youth, please contact us.
