About the Show: In an attempt to brighten the dwindling days of winter, Mayor Joseph A. Curtatone and the Somerville Arts Council present a City Hall exhibit that celebrates vibrant color. "Color" includes over forty works, including paintings, monoprints and stained glass. The subject matter ranges from landscapes and insect imagery to figurative and abstract work. Many of the "Color" artists will be participating in this year's Somerville Open Studios (April 30-May1); so this show will provide a sneak preview of SOS artists' work.
