THE POSTER SHOW!

This lively and eclectic exhibit features 50 posters that were made by Somerville artists or feature a local venue or act. Subjects range from politics and environmentalism to dance performances and art exhibits. Many posters are silkscreened, while others feature computer-based graphic design, collage and illustration. Like all posters, these works vie to grab people's attention and spur some sort of action-whether it's an urgent appeal for peace or an invite to a rock show.

This exhibit hangs throughout City Hall's public spaces, in Mayor Curtatone's offices on the second floor, and in the lobby of Strategic Planning and Community Development on the third floor.
