Sam Mulligan is a chiptune/rock musician who specializes in catchy, silly songs with gameboy beats and rad guitar riffs. Sam has been making weird music since 1999 - but it wasn't until he started using a Nintendo Gameboy as his backing band that things started getting good. Sam lives, creates, and works in Somerville, Massachusetts.

"Mulligan has a great sense of humor and a truly original approach to his songcrafting. He's also a fine multi-instrumentalist that generates some pretty cool sounds with just a guitar and a Gameboy."
Douglas Sloan, Metronome Magazine

Thereminista!

Jon was on the Somerville Arts Council board of directors from 2006 - 2011, where he served on many Local Cultural Council grant panels. He continues to help out the SAC by volunteering his time for tasks such as programming and emceeing the music stages for ArtBeat, the annual festival in Davis Square. He has also been hosting the Breakfast of Champions radio show on WMBR 88.1FM since 1984, back when Alternative Music was just called New Wave or Punk. When he's not curating or DJing, he works as an actuary and plays the theremin (but not at the same time).

Nemes is an unquestionably unique 5 piece rock/folk band from Worcester, Massachusetts. Led by duel frontmen Dave Anthony (Guitar/Vocals) and Josh Knowles (Violin/Vocals), the band brings what Worcester Magazine calls “a nuclear power plant's worth of energy” to any venue they enter. Energy isn't the only thing Nemes is focused on though. The band's songwriting, involving memorable lyrics and catchy hooks, will always be at the forefront, followed by a wide array of top-notch musicianship.

Thom Valicenti started Mount Peru with two and a half tunes scribbled on some bar napkins, with the intention of making a band comprised of a few of his best drinking buddies, that would be versatile enough to operate in a few different styles: 60's Pop, 70's Glam, and 90's indie rock, along with some vintage Country, Soul, Blues, and Folk noises stirred into the mix.
