"Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it". - Ferris Bueller

The artist and the viewer. It is a relationship that has stood the test of time where one depends on the other. We view others and we ourselves are seen. Through the artist’s lens, casual observation becomes a narrative. Individuals evolve into characters that inhabit the newly constructed world of the artist.  As an astute observer, Lauren Kent, use this process to transform the surface of her canvas into an expressive and vibrant commentary on the everyday.

Since the dawn of man, the art of storytelling has been a part of our complex matrix. It is tribal, communal, connects the generations, and humanizes our past. In the current the Inside-OUT Gallery exhibit by featured artist, John Campbell, these tales become reality. Displayed in a dynamic visual spectacle, the viewer is transported to another place—a time when legends dominated our realm.
